advertisements poster for Artist

During the spring of 2023 I had the opportunity to work along side artist in the creation of posters for upcoming Art exhibition the following year. here are a number of ones I created that highlight my capabilities.

    “Speculative Listening”
    By Kimberly Lyle

Ms. Lyle created her based on WW1 listening devices that at the time were used to listen for planes advancing and even tunneling troops; Lyle’s was build with a different purpose. Instead of advancing enemy forces she points the cones of this device towards the peace world that surrounds us. her desire was to help participants refocus on the quite and overlooked live that we pass by everyday.

In my initial designs there was a focus of combining the instrument with the point of focus. through different iterations of photoshop to real life objects I landed on this practical recreation based on Lyle’s device and a flower growing, and the purpose for the was to hark back to the schematics she has on display during the showcase.
Ms. Lyle Loved the poster and asked to use it to promote her exhibit.

    “PLZ_B3_BR4V3[angel]”
    By SULO BEE

Sulo Bee asked for a poster that showcased they colorful style while not revealing anything about they jewelry. they also loved the idea of something 3D when I sent back some drafts I had created. after a couple of iterations, this was the final I submitted. Sulo Bee wanted to use both mine and another artist’s posters, but unfortunately after a discussion with her marketing team they could only afford to print the second artist’s poster.

This poster was created best off of feedback from Sulo Bee. they enjoyed the 3D construction and melting effect I was able to achieve in Maya; along with how I used inspiration from their chosen font to go with a computer code for all the Event information.

    “Knee Deep”
    By matthew anthony batty

Working with matthew anthony batty was peculiar to say the least. when first receiving the commission we were told that matthew anthony batty had no idea what they wanted to show at their exhibition. I was told to research their previous works and to do something that would demonstrate their style and theme of their creations. I had very little feedback from the artist after getting the commission and worked with what I thought they would like.

I created in photoshop photo-bashing different photos that drew references back to their use of combining deceased organic remains with man made objects.
